Currently, Moira is a store manager at a local Starbucks branch, where she has proven to be a leader committed to providing equitable opportunities for all her employees.
On weekends, Moira volunteers her time as a ski instructor at Mt. Hood Meadows. In her free time, Moira also spends time on her a deep passion for art creating ceramics as a creative outlet. She also loves to socialize with friends and play games during game nights. Her favorite cuisine is Indian, and she is always on the lookout for new restaurant recommendations.
Since the start of the pandemic, Moira has been actively seeking opportunities to work with nonprofit organizations that prioritize equity and inclusion. Her desire to create equitable spaces lead her to join the NECC Board at the end of last year. Moira is excited to work on adopting the goals and priorities of NECC’s Strategic Plan which includes championing and embedding equity in all of our work at NECC.
“I am excited to be able to provide a fresh perspective to the great work that is already being done.”
Welcome, Moira!
