Art in the Lobby 

Northeast Community Center’s Art in the Lobby program is looking for new artists! 

Art in the Lobby is a one-month long gallery exhibition for Portland local artists. We take pride in showcasing art from different materials and designs and giving back to our local artist community! Once selected, the chosen artist will have one month to display their work and offer it for sale. The art must be hangable, as we do not have pedestal space for standing art. 

Once your application is received, the NECC Art in the Lobby volunteer Project Coordinator will contact you! Please note that because the Project Coordinator is working in a volunteer position and she is scheduling 4 – 6 months (or more) in to the future, please be patient for her response.
If you are selected, the Project Coordinator will schedule a month, and you will be provided an Artists’ Contract that provides details of the date(s) which your work will be shown, your responsibilities, the NECC’s responsibilities, and the Commission structure for any sales. Thank
