This class is the beginning of your pickleball journey that could lead to years of fun, exercise, and making new friends. This clinic is suitable for brand new players, and those who have taken a beginner class already are welcome to repeat the session.
Pickleball Skills & Drills
These sessions are suitable for players who are 2.5 +. What is a 2.5 level player? That is a beginner to intermediate player who understands the basic rules, can sustain a short rally, hit basic strokes like forehands and backhands with some direction, and is starting to develop consistency with serves and returns, but may struggle with advanced shot placement and court positioning. They know that dinks and volleys are important but may not always play from the kitchen line.
The Strategy Session
Date/Time: Feb 21 from 11:00am-1:00pm
Fees: $47 Members | $62 Non-Members
Instructor: Bob Wolfe
Okay! You know how to hit the ball over the net and keep score. What’s next?
Skills and Drills — The Strategy Session will focus on the all-important first 3 to 6 shots of the game. Learn where to hit those shots, and why to hit them there. This session can change the way you see the pickleball court and help you win more games. Stop playing pickleball without a plan!
The Volley Session

You simply cannot win pickleball games without learning to volley the pickleball. In this session we will utilize the ball machine and you will hit five different kinds of volleys with many, many repetitions. Class size limited to six people to ensure everyone gets lots of shots in. Coaching is available as part of the session, as players desire, but advanced players are welcome to attend and get in some reps.
