Summer Camp Coordinator
Position Description. As the Summer Camp Coordinator, your role is to oversee the daily operations of our summer camp program for children grades K-5th (group size 10 to 20 kids with 3-4 staff on shift depending on the camp). You help supervise camp staff, coordinate youth activities for the day, and communicate with parents and guardians during check-in/out and throughout the day as needed. Keeping the camp on schedule and in the correct rooms is essential in our bustling community center. The daily schedule and specific activities will be planned ahead of time in partnership with the Youth Programs Manager.
- Hourly wage $21/per hour

Pre & Post Natal Yoga Instructor
The NECC is expanding our programing and looking to develop a new Pre and Post Natal yoga program. The Pre & Post Natal yoga and Movement classes will be inclusive and support individual wellness and strengthen communities. All Instructors create safe, inspiring, and inclusive group exercise classes, and may facilitate both in-person and online classes as assigned.
- 85 hr. Pre-Natal and Post-Natal Yoga and Movement Instructor Certification required
- Per Class Wage: $25-$35 depending on experience

Personal Trainers
We are expanding our personal training team and are looking to hire enthusiastic individuals who are interested in joining our team to help empower, encourage, and support a diverse range of existing members and outreach to engage folks new to the NECC.
- Current personal training certifications and CPR/AED/First Aid certification are required, with specialized field certifications preferred.
- Trainers are hired as employees with full access to the facility and all equipment for sessions.
- Starting Compensation: $38/hr.
Fitness Instructors
The NECC is looking to add new instructors to our team with specializations in:
- Pre and Post Natal Yoga (see position above)
- TRX Suspension Training
- Strength training and weightlifting for osteoporosis and osteopenia
- Parkinson’s Disease group fitness programing

Lifeguard

Position Description: We are a single-guard pool with a focus on community building and emergency prevention. We’re seeking an individual who’s passionate about aquatics and thrives in a team environment, dedicated to upholding safe aquatic practices.
- Starting hourly wage: $16.50-$18 per hour depending on experience

- Applicants must be at least 16 years old and hold a current Lifeguard Certification OR be at least 16 years old and willing and able to participate in ARC Lifeguard Certification process through The Northeast Community Center
Swim Instructor

Position Description. Our instructors teach swimming skills and water safety to children in a non-competitive, recreational program using the Red Cross Learn to Swim curriculum. We are looking for someone with a passion for aquatics who is able to work cooperatively as part of a team, attentive and engaged with their students, and able to incorporate diverse and fun activities into effective lessons.
- The person in this position must be at least 16 years old and able to acquire a Lifeguard certificate. If you aren’t certified but seem like a good fit for the role, the NECC will pay for your training.
- Starting hourly wage $17-18 per hour depending on experience
- Monday – Friday 3:00 – 6:30pm
