Position Description. NECC Swim Instructors teach swimming skills and water safety to children using the Red Cross Learn to Swim curriculum. We are seeking instructors who have a passion for aquatics, are able to work cooperatively with other instructors, are attentive and engaged with their students, and are able to incorporate diverse and fun activities into effective lessons.
- Starting hourly wage: $16/hr
- Schedule: M-F Afternoons/Evening, Sat Mornings, part time (15-20 hours/week)
- Must be at least 16 years old
Position Description. Personal Trainers are responsible for helping clients achieve individualized fitness and health goals. Trainers will evaluate each client’s health history to determine exercise readiness. Trainers will screen each client or any medical conditions that may need a physician’s consent prior to beginning program. Trainers will design, modify and support client’s personalized program – according to fitness level, goals, musculoskeletal injuries and medical conditions.
- Compensation: Trainers serve as Independent Contractors, and compensation is competitive. Initial
compensation is established based on a variety of factors including: Trainer’s education,
experience, and specialized knowledge (if any), number of current clients, and average training
- Must hold an accredited Fitness and CPR/AED/First Aid certification. (ACE, ACSM, NASM, NSCA etc.) or a 4-year degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or equivalent.

Position Description. The NECC offers a wide variety of adult fitness classes serving all ages of the community.
