Food Forest Basics Workshop
Here’s the info for the class:
Are you interested in learning about food forests, converting your yard or public land into an edible perennial garden, creating abundant habitat, food security, and relationship with the land?
Join Dan from Portland Food Forest Initiative for a free Food Forest class and discussion April 27th at the NE Community Center from 1-2:30pm for an in-depth class and discussion.
This is a great opportunity to learn about Urban Regenerative Agriculture, decentralized food systems, placemaking, and habitat building.

Aging at Home Resource Fair
Bring your friends and family to this free Aging at Home Resource Fair. Meet senior service providers who will share tips and resources ranging from health to housing and from construction to estate planning! Have face-to-face conversations with the experts and feel more comfortable with Aging at Home – the information you need to live the life you choose! Check in at the door for an event passport that will guide you through the displays and enter you in a raffle for some great prizes.
May 18th from 12 pm-3 pm in the Northeast Community Center gym.
Please note, the NECC is not ADA-accessible.
