IN PROGRESS ART CLASSES
Basics of Painting
A series of classes focusing on painting skills. Artists will be learning basic painting techniques, the color wheel, and applying these to their own works of art. Materials may include mixed media paper, canvas, tempera paint, and watercolors. No prior art experience necessary.
FALL 2 DATES: November 12 to December 17 – 5 classes (no class November 26)

Papier Mache Sculptures
A series of classes focusing on sculpting and papier mache building techniques. Artists will be making large scale papier mache sculptures and finding their own unique style in artmaking. Materials will include paper, papier mache paste, and paint. No prior art experience necessary.

WINTER 1: ART CLASSES
Young Artists Drawing Class
A series of classes focusing on developing drawing skills. Students will work with a variety of 2D materials including colored pencils, markers, pastels, and drawing pencils. No prior art experience necessary.

Drawing Fundamentals
A series of classes focusing on developing drawing skills. Students will be working with both graphite and charcoal drawing materials to make their own unique works of art. Beginners and more experienced artists are welcome!

DANCE CLASSES
Marlon is our long-time dance teacher and a former professional dancer. He is an experienced instructor who is passionate about working with children and is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing learning environment. This class is very low-stakes and does not have a competitive nature. We look forward to seeing everyone on the dance floor!
Pop & Hip-Hop Dance Classes
Pop & Hip Hop Dance with Marlon is the perfect class for kids who love to dance to their favorite music! This high-energy class focuses on fun, while teaching kids exciting dance routines to today’s top pop and hip hop hits (clean versions!). Each week, Marlon will break down the moves step by step, helping kids build confidence, coordination, and rhythm, all while dancing to the songs they know and love.
By the end of the session, your child will have learned a full dance routine, which they’ll perform in a casual showcase for friends and family on the last day of class. Plus, on that final day, participants can bring a friend for free to join the fun and watch the performance.

Dance with Marlon! (Ages 5-7 & 8-12)
Welcome to “Dance with Marlon,” where children aged 5-7 and 8-12 can explore the world of dance! Our class is open to kids of all skill levels and focuses on building confidence, having fun, and developing balance and movement abilities. Explore a range of dance styles & choreography, including Hip-Hop, Salsa, Latin, Flamenco, Bachata, and Merengue. Family members are welcome to watch the class from the room next door as long as the room does not become overcrowded.
