YOGA
NEW! Meditative Yoga Flow with Lisa

your mind. This is a traditional vinyasa flow class with
plenty of time to cool your body down and bring you a
sense of calm & grounding to your evening. Bring your
own yoga blanket.
Community Yoga with Kristi
For beginning and intermediate participants. Self-awareness is encouraged in this practice for flexibility, strength, balance, and breath. This class is free and open to all.
Gentle Yoga (Hybrid) with Tina
Gentle, spacious movements & breath work to increase circulation, open the body, and release the mind. Longer held restorative poses for deeper relaxation.
Intermediate Yoga (Hybrid) with Tina
Intermediate Yoga class is a Power Vinyasa Flow, featuring fluid movement between poses. Medium-intensity, faster-paced class focusing on balance, stretches, standing, and core work. Adaptations provided.
Pride Yoga with Kristi
Open to all, this is a safe and inclusive space for the healing practice of Hatha flow yoga for LGBTQIA+ participants and allies.
Restorative Yoga with Cas
This class provides a mixture of relaxation, breathwork, and energizing movement.

Dance Party with Karlyn
A weekday dance party for every body! Moves that are easy to learn and modify, tunes that you already love! All abilities welcome! No dance experience necessary.
Zumba with Marlon
Dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, and mambo.
Empowerment Aerobics with Alissa
This class is designed to elevate your energy and confidence. We kickstart the session with a brief cardio block and gradually build up the intensity over 40 minutes. We’ll wind down by focusing on core strengthening exercises to gradually lower heart rates. All movements can be modified whether you prefer a lower-impact approach or a high-intensity challenge.

OTHER MOVEMENT PROGRAMS
Foam Roller + Trigger Point Release with Tina
Practice techniques for trigger point release and muscle pain and tension relief using tools such as balls and foam rolling. Equipment provided or bring your own.
Equipment Orientation with Catherine
First time in a fitness facility? Have questions about how to adjust equipment? In this group orientation, Catherine will help you answer any facility and equipment concerns you might have. This orientation is meant to be attended one time and is only open to current NECC members.

Designed to promote total body awareness and focused muscle control. Challenging and fun for all levels, but especially great for beginners to familiarize themselves with barre movements. Engages muscles and provides a brain workout.

Active Older Adult (AOA) Fitness with Catherine
Cardio activities in a gym setting for Active Older Adults to increase endurance, strength, and flexibility.
Beginning Foundations to Tai Chi Long Form (Hybrid) with Alexia
Designed to introduce beginners to the graceful movements and meditative practices of Tai Chi.
Qigong with Catherine
Class starts with Qigong exercises for breathing and posture. Yang style 8 movement form practiced afterwards.
Tai Chi: Moving For Better Balance with Catherine
Class focuses on health benefits. Improves balance and well-being. Covers basic Qigong movements and posture as foundation for Yang Style Tai Chi.
