The Northeast Community Center is “waaay more than a fitness center.” We don’t just exercise our bodies, we exercise our minds and hearts (learning and giving) – and our vocal chords too (talking and laughing)!
We are not about profit, we are about people. We care about the kids, families, and individuals who live in our community. Every NECC program and activity is designed to build wellness, strong bodies, active minds, happy smiles, and lasting friendships.
We don’t just get in shape, we get inspired. We offer a range of classes such as Red Cross CPR and First Aid Training, Red Cross “When I’m In Charge”, Red Cross Water Saftey Instructor Course, All-Day Camps with PDXplore, the Portland Police Bureau’s GirlStrength and WomenStrength programs, Circus Camp for kids, Dancing, Water Color Painting, Swim Club, Book Club, and more. Don’t forget to check out our Social Events/Workshops page for additional happenings.
We don’t just lift weights, we lift spirits. We invite our neighbors to join us in a variety of celebrations. Together we play, parade, put on events, and promote good causes. With our community partners we support programs that improve the lives of our neighbors and strengthen our community.
NECC membership isn’t about joining a club, it’s about becoming part of a healthy, caring community.
If this sounds like your kind of place, please come by for a tour and a free guest pass!
