YOGA
Yoga Foundations with Sido
Let’s explore the foundations of yoga together! Whether you are just beginning or have years of experience, we will provide a welcoming and lighthearted space to practice yoga.
Yoga Flow with Lisa
Strengthen your body, increase your flexibility, and quiet
your mind. This is a traditional vinyasa flow class with
plenty of time to cool your body down and bring you a
sense of calm & grounding to your evening. Bring your
own yoga blanket.
Gentle Yoga (Hybrid) with Tina
Gentle, spacious movements & breath work to increase circulation, open the body, and release the mind. Longer held restorative poses for deeper relaxation.
Functional Yoga (Hybrid) with Tina
Functional Yoga is a Power Vinyasa Flow, a powerful, energetic form of yoga where participants move fluidly from one pose to the next. Provides the space to calm the mind, deepen the breath, and nourish the body. This class may be best for those interested in a medium-intensity, faster pace class focusing on balance, stretches, standing, and core work. Adaptions provided. All are welcome!
ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS
Active Older Adult (AOA) Fitness with Catherine
Cardio activities in a gym setting for Active Older Adults to increase endurance, strength, and flexibility.
Qigong with Catherine
The emphasis of this class is focused on breath, posture and mindful movement. Stimulating all the systems of the body while doing fluid deliberate movement. Qigong movements are intended to stimulate circulation and promote health, balance and harmony of the organ systems of the body.
Tai Chi for Fitness and Balance with Catherine
This class is based on a 14 -15 movement 2 corner form. The emphasis is on posture, balance, breath work and promoting physical and mental health.
Tai Chi: Long Form (Hybrid) with Alexia
The graceful and meditative practices of Tai Chi promote physical and mental relaxation while strengthening the cardiovascular and immune systems. Open to all levels, beginners through advanced are welcome.
OTHER MOVEMENT PROGRAMS
Foam Roller + Trigger Point Release (Hybrid) with Tina
Practice techniques for trigger point release and muscle pain and tension relief using tools such as balls and foam rolling. Equipment provided or bring your own.
Equipment Orientation with Personal Trainers
New to the NECC or have never received a full tour of the building and our offerings? Meet with one of our personal trainers to set goals, get a building tour, and develop a workout program based on our equipment.
DANCE + CARDIO
Cardio ABC with Alissa
*Formerly called Empowerment Aerobics* In this fun, fast-paced and beat driven class, we post a new phrase each week where each letter of the phrase represents a cardio, strength or balance movement. We run through each movement for 30, 60, or 90 seconds. Warm up and cool down are infused into the week’s phrase. Modifications provided.
Cardio Kickboxing with Josh
Utilizing techniques from Western Boxing & Muay Thai, we’ll learn to put together basic combinations, work our form & balance, then apply these kicks / punches / knees & elbows in partner drills & on the heavy bag. Participants must bring their own boxing gloves. Space is limited so sign up ahead of time on Mindbody
WERQ with Karlyn
Join Karlyn for the wildly addictive cardio dance class, WERQ! WERQ (pronounced work) is the fiercely fun dance fitness workout based on pop and hip hop music. All dance and fitness levels encouraged!
Zumba with Marlon
Dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, and mambo.

Challenge yourself with cardio intervals that focus on your core.
STRENGTH
Focused Barre (Hybrid) with Alissa
Designed to promote total body awareness and focused muscle control. Challenging and fun for all levels, but especially great for beginners to familiarize themselves with barre movements. Engages muscles and provides a brain workout.
Lunch Break with Josh
Designed to give you a great workout in your mid-day window, Lunch Break is a circuit class with scalable exercises at each station. Join us anytime between 12-1pm on Monday and Wednesday and get in where you fit in!
Pilates: Core Focus (Hybrid) with Tina
Join us for a quick but effective pilates-based core strengthening class. Leave feeling strong and energized for the rest of your day.
Strength + Conditioning with Adrean
Group fitness class designed to challenge and inspire. Daily focus on different goals as a community. Class covers Power, Core, Balance, Speed/Quickness/Agility. All levels welcome.
Tuesday Timbre with Josh
This early bird class will mix strength training, cardio, calisthenics and more with an emphasis on whole body focus and functional fitness!
Total Body Conditioning (Hybrid) with Tina
A full-body weights class melding Pilates, strength, balance, and some cardio. Get ready to sweat!
Warrior Rhythm with Heidi
Fitness focused with yoga undertones. It’s yoga + weights + HIIT + mindfulness rolled into one insanely rhythmic experience! All levels welcome.
Whole Body Barre (Hybrid) with Alissa
High-intensity, cardio-infused program targets all muscle groups using elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga. Modifications available for all levels.
