Adult Fitness & Wellness Coordinator
Position Description. NECC has a position for a Program Coordinator who is responsible for all aspects of our vibrant adult fitness, wellness, and enrichment programming. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about building community, have a vision for supporting the health and wellness needs of a diverse population, enjoy working collaboratively, and have experience working with adults in a recreational, fitness, or wellness setting. It’s a bonus if you have a personal or group training certification and prior supervisory experience.

Group Fitness Instructor
Position Description. The NECC offers a wide variety of adult fitness classes serving all ages of the community. If you have experience working with a diverse population, can adapt your teaching style to serve various fitness levels, are creative with your class programming and value community, we would love to hear from you.

Volunteering at NECC is a great way to meet new people. Camaraderie is the glue of the organization and an important element that strengthens the entire community. Volunteering provides an opportunity to meet members from all age groups and activity interests.
Arts & Crafts Fair
Each Fall, NECC holds a two-day Arts & Crafts Fair in our Gymnasium. This popular and successful event showcases the talents of local artists, several who are NECC Members. After several years of consistent leadership, we are seeking a new Chair (or co-Chairs) for this event. There is a strong volunteer committee, and we are looking for an individual with strong organizational skills and an interest in showcasing local artists who apply. NECC Board of Directors
The NECC is governed by a Board of Directors. The Board is comprised of Members and Non-Members who are committed to and actively participate in the stewardship of the NECC. Members attend a monthly Board meeting, and are asked to participate on a Board Committee. Building & Grounds Committee
The Building & Grounds Committee plans and organizes facility improvements and major maintenance projects for the NECC. The committee develops project budgets and priorities for the Board and manages Board approved projects.
Committee meets First Tuesday of the month from 9:00-10:30 AM.
Fund Raising Committee
Since the Northeast Community does not operate for profit, fund raising campaigns and events are necessary to assure that resources are sufficient to maintain the facility and to support programs. The committee plans events and campaigns to accomplish this fund raising.
