NECC’s Active Older Adults (AOA) programs exist to encourage and support wellness in mind, body, and spirit for older adults through fitness programs, fellowship, and community service.

Potlucks, Socials, and Trips

AOA Classes

The following classes are open to the public, however a drop-in fee is required for all Non-Members of the NECC. Registration is not required but encouraged.

AOA Aerobics
This class builds endurance and strength as well as increasing bone density. Increased flexibility, correct posture, and improved balance and coordination are also welcomed benefits of this class.

AOA Circuit Training Class
This class is designed to build strength by working the major muscle groups of the body through resistance or weight training exercise. The circuit enables each participant to work out at his/her individual intensity and ability level. (1-hour free equipment orientation is a prerequisite for this class – see the Front Desk for more information)

Tues/Thurs   10:30 am – 11:30 am
