If you love working with children and adults this course is an excellent way to gain the skills and confidence needed to teach a variety of aquatics programs.  Through video and hands-on skill building, the Water Safety Instructor course is designed to train water safety instructors to use a variety of teaching strategies, including:

• Class Management Techniques
• Lesson Planning and Execution
• Observation and Assessment
• New Tools to be great new instructors

Prerequisites:
Must be at least 16 years old, possess FIT (Fundamentals of Instructor Training) certificate issued within the last year or current Health and Safety Services Instructor Authorized Certificate.  Successfully complete precourse.
