Building & Grounds Committee
The Building & Grounds Committee plans and organizes facility improvements and major maintenance projects for the NECC. The committee develops project budgets and priorities for the Board and manages Board approved projects.
Committee meets First Wednesday of the month from 1:15-3:15 PM.
The Communication Committee oversees all media, including (but not limited to) newsletters, Hollywood Star articles, web site, flyers, email blasts, activities calendar, and promotion of events for the Northeast Community Center.
Committee meets First Thursday of the month at 11:00 AM.
The Finance Committee has responsibility for overseeing the financial aspect of the community center including historical tracking through financial statements, planning through budgets, and protecting through risk management.
Committee meets Third Thursday of the month at 12:00 PM.
Fund Raising Committee
Since the Northeast Community does not operate for profit, fund raising campaigns and events are necessary to assure that resources are sufficient to maintain the facility and to support programs. The committee plans events and campaigns to accomplish this fund raising.
Committee meets on the Third Monday of the month at 6:00 PM
Members are the “heart” of NECC. The more members we have the stronger we become. This Committee seeks to support members and increase their membership.
Committee meets Second Monday of the month at 12:00 PM.
Program Committee recommends to the Board the direction and goals for all programs offered at the NECC, addresses issues related to program development offerings. Committee reviews program-related documents and evaluates program effectiveness in relation to policy, standards, directions and goals.
Committee meets Second Tuesday of the month at 12:00 PM.
